Jan 17, 2014 · Unfortunately, when installing Windows Server 2012 Essentials, the Intel I217 network controller is not supported. And no driver is available, either from ASUS or from Intel. Looking into the issue, I see that ASUS installs the Intel I217V chipset into Z87 motherboards, not the I217UM.

Dec 06, 2010 · I’m going to be building a few servers running WIndows 2008 Server to do some software testing on in the next couple of months and was wondering if anyone had some recommendations. We’ll be running RAID as well so the motherboard will need to support that.
