Oct 01, 2002 · Error: Unable to initialize the ASPI manager ASPI support information was not found I got it to work and I burned a CD yesterday but now it doesn't and says this. I've downloaded the lastest ASPI manager file from Adaptec and installed it already. Computer has been restarted already and don't know what else to do.

Oct 25, 2004 · I reinstalled Windows XP on my PC. While it was installing it I got "ADAPTEC ASP32 is not compatible with Windows XP. I have MTU microstudio. I reinstalled it because I received error: unable to initialize to the ASPI manager - ASPI manager support information not found. It mentions ASPI Driver Version 1.2.0.0

Aug 05, 2001 · When I go to open it, I immediately receive the message -- error: unable to initialize the ASPI manager. ASPI support information not found. I click 'OK' on that message, and CDRWin proceeds to open as normal. But when I try to use any of the functions, another message comes up saying -- No CDROM recording device was found on the SCSI or IDE bus.

Aug 24, 2016 · Here's something from Adaptec that might be relevant: keeping your ASPI layer up to date. According to what I see there, this goes back to Windows NT, 2000, XP and 98. Hard to believe it's still called for. Here's a 2005 Dell support forum item that addresses the same topic: aspi for Win32 not installed correctly.

Sep 29, 2016 · "File not found: C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\ASPI32.sys" The file is in syswow64\Drivers but not system32\Drivers. The file description says "ASPI for WIN32 Kernal Driver". So, does this file get installed by some older software maybe, and possibly got uninstalled when I removed the software?
