Support for devices with a GPT partition table (GUID partitions). (Windows Vista/2003/XP) The problem is that Windows 8 have to have GPT partitioning, so you'll have to run TC in legacy 32 bit mode. So it should work fine if you don't have UEFI BIOS or are using the legacy boot mode.

Oct 23, 2016 · So up to now, I've been encrypting all our laptops with TrueCrypt. Yesterday I received a new laptop that has a GUID partition table, which as you know is not a new technology. However, TrueCrypt only supports MBR partition tables, which means that I cannot encrypt this drive. So, what are you all using to encrypt your drives that have GPT?
