Apr 23, 2009 · My iPod keeps going into disk mode, and I can't figure out how to get it out of disk mode. I've restored the iPod a couple of times, but it keeps happening. The manual says to select iPod in the source list in iTunes and click the settings tab, but I can't see any settings tab.

May 07, 2010 · In order to take the iPod out of Disk Mode, you will have to reset the iPod. To do this, press and hold the Center and Menu buttons together until the Apple logo appears. That should do the trick. If you are getting no response from the iPod while attempting to reset it, you may have to wait for the battery to die, then hook it up.
