Dec 09, 2008 · Does the Trial Version of Aperture support the use of the Tether Option - I've hooked up my camera (Nikon D80) and set the comms mode to MTP/PTP - I have checked on both the Aperture and Nikon websites - both say set comms to PTP The Tether option is available but the sub menus (Start etc) are greyed out can someone confirm my suspicions Thanks

Apple is preparing but has not yet published a knowledgebase article that will list the supported cameras, which is expected to include various Canon, Nikon and perhaps other digital SLR models, plus the iPhone.+

Feb 27, 2010 · Thanks - I had also seen the page you referred to and saw the Aperture 2 bit and ignored the higher bit so I thought it was an out of date document. I will have to get Apple to understand that there are other very useable cameras for them to support <g> THanks

Apple expands raw, tethered camera support. Canon S90 and Panasonic G1 and GF1 owners now can import raw files into Aperture and iPhoto, and Canon SLR owners get tethered shooting.

Feb 17, 2008 · Among their most popular are the 1D & 1Ds Mark III, 30D, and 40D. I see a huge number of 1D models at shoots and the 30D is everywhere. So far, in my own testing and in reviewing the posts on the forums, at least 4 of the 8 SLRs Canon sells don't work with tethering in Aperture 2. In fact, the only Canon SLR confirmed to work is the 20D.
