I installed Quartus II in my computer (I use Ubuntu), but apparently there is no support for PAL devices (specifically GAL22V10D). It says that I can install more devices (Tools > Install devices), but it asks me the location of the device files (.qdz) and I can't find it.

Jun 21, 2013 · In the Device Manager right click on the USB-Blaster device and select Update Driver Software. In the next dialog box select the option Browse my computer for driver software. A new dialog will open where it is possible to point to the driver’s location. Set the location to altera\<version number>\quartus\drivers\usb-blaster and press Next.

Mar 24, 2015 · That's weird. As far as I know all Cyclone series are support in both the web edition (free) and subscription edition. I just took a look at Altera's website, but the Cyclone (I) and Cyclone II aren't listed anymore in the supported families for Quartus II.

So, you need to install this patch by running the .exe. Then you can install another device(s) (eg CycloneV-15.0.0.145.qdz) using the standalone Device Installer. You should be able to obtain this patch from Altera Tech Support.
