Jan 05, 2009 · In fact, anything approaching a fix appears to be pure accident. I am stuck in the middle. Microsoft will not provide support for ActiveSync. I have spent hours on the phone with Verizon Tech support and they can't figure it out. The phone manufacturer (HTC) does not support Active Sync. I have a phone that will not work as represented.

Jan 14, 2009 · trying to synch my HP IPAQ 2400 series with my laptop but I get the msg 'Activesynch problem on desktop' and the above SC. This advised me to upgrade to Asynch 4.5 from 4.1 so I did this but when I attempt to open the download I get the msg "This installation package could not be opened.
