If you have Windows 2K servers, the last thing I would be upgrading to is Windows 2003 - apart from the fact you can't buy it from anywhere. I would be inclined to get off the Windows 2000 server if they are getting flaky, but no way would I recommend 2003 as the path to take.

Feb 05, 2015 · The note for 2003 SP2 says: Support ends 24 months after the next service pack releases or at the end of the* product's* support lifecycle, whichever comes first. For more information, please see the service pack policy here . The *product* in this case is Windows Server 2003 so yes, even with SP2 applied, support ends 7/14/2015

The Lifecycle site’s FAQ has more information and details on support options if you are not able to complete your migration prior to the end of support dates. Make sure that you are able to migrate to a supported product prior to the support expiration date.
