Jan 26, 2017 · Zune 120 was working great and it shut down and came back up with the message "5" "contact support". What do I need to do to fix this?? I love this machine and am disappointed that it has stopped working.

Mar 23, 2009 · My 80GB starts and shows the Zune logo but it won't load and then after a while it says "Contact Support" with a 5 circled on the top left. I have no back-up files for the stuff I have on this, and it would be so sad if it all has to be thrown away.

I open, plug my Zune in (not sure if correctly, I'm still learning how to work this), and once I get it on, it says "contact support". It never said it before, so based on searches on this subreddit, it's a faulty cable. I know Microsoft discontinued Zune, so there's no way to contact them, but I don't know what to do.
