Aug 16, 2008 · i have the exact same problem with my 30gb (which i actually sold and am trying to fix for a friend)it charges and goes to the logo screen with no loading bar at the bottom it then blinks to the contact support screen 5 message. do you think its my ribbon cord? should i send the zune in to be fixed or just order the parts and fix it myself?(willing and able!..at the buyers expense of course) :?

I open, plug my Zune in (not sure if correctly, I'm still learning how to work this), and once I get it on, it says "contact support".
