Aug 22, 2007 · Under the assumption, user can access the system partition, I have a some kind of a way to support non-us character on zune. Basically, I think Zune's default registry setting indicate a link from zune's default font to the asian font (korean and chinese and etc.) under the registry entity "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\FontLink\Sy stemLink"

But you are right about one thing, the lack of asian language support is a shame on zune. If they weren't so, IMHO, unbelivably incompetent and may I say, arrogant to acknowledge this problem, I won't be doing this. It's already more than one year since the release of the 1st gen zune, and my Chinese and Japanese songs still show up as boxes.
