Apr 13, 2018 · TRIM/UNMAP support has already been available in FreeBSD's ZFS code for several years but not yet in the other OpenZFS projects like ZFS On Linux. TRIM, of course, can improve the solid-state drive performance as in effect a more efficient garbage collection of informing the SSD about no longer needed blocks.

TRIM and ZFS. So I've been trawling the internet for a couple of days looking for information on which versions support TRIM so far I've only found Solaris 11 and FreeBSD 9.2+. The illumos folks seem to be working on it but I can't find and roadmaps as to when it would be released.
