May 13, 2016 · Doom Controller Support? Hey guys, I'm a bit confused as to wether or not this game supports controllers. It has a Controllers option in the menu, but it's greyed out even though I'm using the Steam Controller. There is even a SC mapping available made by id themselves, but I can't use it because the game doesn't recognize controller inputs.

I use GZDOOM for Brutal Doom, and it has native support for the Xbox 360 controller as soon as you plug it in. I believe you just have to enable joysticks/gamepads in the settings. All of Brutal Doom's special features (kick, roll, reload) can be mapped to the Xbox buttons …
