May 21, 2010 · I had no luck getting 3 monitors to display using one HD 5870 in Win XP. ATI's Eyefinity web page, "What is Eyefinity", states operating system support that includes Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Linux, so that's the big clue regarding Win XP.

Sep 28, 2015 · Windows XP supports only 2x displays per GPU. Dual GPU cards like, FirePro 2450 support 4x displays (2x Displays per GPU); and every 2x displays from the same GPU can combine as one “big desktop” which looks like 2x1 Eyefinity group. Using 2x FirePro 2450 cards you should be able to get up to 8x displays.
