Therefore, a custom board support package must be generated for each hardware design that you create. SDK can be used to create board support packages for third-party operating systems that are supported on the Xilinx processors.

To create a new board support package for application development in SDK, do the following: Click File > New > Xilinx Board Support Package. In the Project name field, type a name for the board support package if you wish to override the default value, such as standalone_bsp_0. Select the location for the board support project files.
