Oct 23, 2017 · XenServer 6.5 went "End Of Maintenance" on the 30th of September 2017. No new features or hotfixes (unless they were in creation before this date) will be provided which includes template support. 6.5 goes end of life 26 Jun 2018. Edit: As Tobias said you are free to run whatever operating systems you want on XenServer.

May 11, 2015 · Citrix will continue to provide security updates to the base XenServer 6.5 product for a period of six months, from the release date of the XenServer 6.5 Service Pack 1 (until 12th November 2015). After this six month period elapses, any new hotfixes will only be released to support XenServer 6.5 with SP1 applied.
