Jul 12, 2018 · It looks like Subversion has been dropped in favor of Git Going from Xcode 7 to 9, I don't even have commit, update, or any of these uptions.. Our company uses Subversion for all of our projects, so this is bad for us. We are a small company, not everone is able to upgrade to the latest and greatest.

Oct 04, 2017 · It looks like Xcode has removed SVN support from Xcode 9. If you have an existing SVN account added in an older version of Xcode, the account appears to work. But that may one day not be true, and if your SVN credentials ever change, I think that will break the account in Xcode 9.

Dec 18, 2018 · Support for Subversion has been removed. (33361671) ... Xcode no longer has any direct support or integration with SVN. The switch to git started years ago, and the coming deprecation was repeated called out in release notes and WWDC sessions. IIRC the change was made because git is technically superior for Xcode's IDE model.
