Oct 11, 2013 · The subtitles have to be hardcoded into the file, and even then I've had problems getting them working. Often times subtitles cause playback problems in extenders.. It's frustrating. There is a way to use an xbox 360 with srt files however. Playon.tv has their Playon/MyMedia software that supports .srt files....It functions like a DLNA server.
