Mar 21, 2014 · When the Xbox One was first announced, the list of features included 3D playback. When the console actually launched support was promised to be added soon. It is now late February and still no 3D support. I know 3D televisions really did not take off the way the industry was hoping, but a lot people did buy them and do love and use them.

The Xbox One and PS4 don't support playback of 3D Blu-rays as of now. My guess is it doesn't support stereoscopic 3D for games either. It's very likely that support will be added in some future update, like it was the case for the Xbox 360 and PS3.

Apr 10, 2018 · The Xbox one x currently won't play 3d Blu rays. When you try to play a 3d Blu Ray on the Xbox one x, it loses HDMI connection. I have to restart the Xbox one x to get it working again. When can I expect a fix for 3d Blu Ray support? Also my TV is a LG oled and fully supports 3d content. My Xbox one s plays 3d Blu rays just fine.
