As the topic obviously inquires, does X3 have dual monitor support? It would be pretty awesome if I could get X3 to show on both of my screens so I can have a better idea about whats going on around me. Has anyone done this, know if its possible, or know what to do to get it to work?

2D monitor images are a bit distorted due to the extra FOV that is imposed on them, but playable. No solution available. One user reported this problem: when flying around everything is proportional, but once i enter the sector-map, galaxy-surfer, or any other window like stats, ownerships, etc., then these windows are stretched like hell and with huge fonts.

You say "But the number of games that use two monitors is pretty low." and that is true, but if you have a game that you could spend 3-6 weeks on making multi-montitor support you might not do so if the player group that have multiple monitors is less than say 1%... and I was hoping that steam hardware survey could say that.
