Thanks for your reply. However, I specifically did say browsers and versions, in fact the main thing I'm after is the specific versions of browsers which support the Content-Type: Multipart/X-Mixed-Replace. multipart/x-mixed-replaced has some support, because some servers do use it for server-side pushing, like for streaming media. The only other multipart/... types commonly used with HTTP are multipart/form-data and multipart/byteranges .

Sep 29, 2016 · The multipart/x-mix-reaplce type response means each new part (data between two ---osclivepreview--- boundary) will replace the old one. That's why the server non-stopping send new part. If you're going to do it in JS context it's very difficult and inefficient, especially for RN.
