With a DLL approach, and with different versions and configurations of wxWidgets needing to be catered for, the end user may end up with a host of large DLLs in his or her Windows system directory, negating the point of using DLLs. Of course, this is not a problem just associated with wxWidgets! How can I reduce executable size?

To enable it you just have to edit the "setup.h" file (in the include/wx/msw subfolder of the wxWidgets sources).If the file is not present, make a copy of the one named "setup0.h" and name it "setup.h"In this file, search for wxGraphicsContext.
