Aug 09, 2019 · SLI and Crossfire are pretty much dead as a technology. What could be done is DX12 / Vulkan multi-GPU support. It’s in like one or two games at this point but it allows using multiple GPUs, even dGPU and integrated graphics… But it requires low level support of it in the game.

Feb 08, 2015 · I've looked around and haven't been able to find any good info on SLI being supported BY wow. I did find a blue post stating that it was in the works but it was early in MoP. So does WOW support SLI yet? If not Why not. I have rear posts dating back 5 years of players requesting WOW SLI support and yet it appears it is still not supported.

Jul 14, 2016 · While SLI would probably be fine, as people have said above, there might not be much point to getting SLI just for WoW. One card is quite likely to push top settings at 4k in Legion assuming you're not using any AA or Render Scale (which given that 4k is UHD you probably wouldn't get much benefit of anyway).

As an SLI user for many years and a WoW fanatic, WoW had among the BEST SLI scalings of at least 50 games I played. On BFA, removal of EFS made a mess and although a patch one week ago made SLI scaling great as in pre BFA era, yesterday's mini update fucked it up again (G-Sync aswell).

May 24, 2019 · Bandwidth requirements for SLI on the new RTX cards surpassed what current SLI bridges could support, so instead of creating a new method of letting cards communicate with each other for the sole purpose of SLI, nvidia just implemented NVlink connectivity that SLI is allowed to communicate through.

Apr 04, 2008 · Does WoW support SLI? I am playing that game most of the time so i am thinking about getting 9600GT SLI or maybe 9800GTX. SLI is faster then 9800gtx for sure, just don't want to buy sli and then find out only specific games can use it.

If you're in the Legion beta, and have 2 Nvidia cards in SLI, you've probably noticed that it's only using one card by default. This is because the driver SLI profile is configured to recognize executable files, and the World of Warcraft profile doesn't match the wowb.exe/wowb-64.exe files for the Legion beta.

Nov 10, 2015 · Now I don't want to hear that I don't "need" 980ti SLI or that I'm insane, figured that out already :cool: What I want to hear is if it's anyone in here running WoW, or other games for that matter as well, with 980ti SLI in 1440p. Does WoW scale well with that setup? Supposed to be more CPU intense so that's why I'm asking.
