Aug 09, 2019 · SLI and Crossfire are pretty much dead as a technology. What could be done is DX12 / Vulkan multi-GPU support. It’s in like one or two games at this point but it allows using multiple GPUs, even dGPU and integrated graphics… But it requires low level support of it in the game.

May 24, 2019 · SLI and Crossfire require fullscreen as both methods use AFR, alternate frame rendering, to share the workload. AFR doesn’t really work in windowed mode. Crossfire straight up doesn’t work outside of fullscreen where as SLI technically can work ,but gpu usage will be uneven and microstutter will occur due to increased frametimes.

This is because the driver SLI profile is configured to recognize executable files, and the World of Warcraft profile doesn't match the wowb.exe/wowb-64.exe files for the Legion beta. Fret not, for the Legion beta completely supports SLI.
