Jul 30, 2012 · I think the best way to support the worktop over these two appliances is to have two worktop end panels on either side and a worktop support panel between them. The problem is Ikea doesn't do end support panels or worktop support panels. So I have purchased a cover panel for the tall cabinet to cut in half to use on the ends.

May 05, 2013 · The worktop will cover all of them, and float over the washing machine. I want to put an end panel in after the washing machine to support the worktop, but I'm not sure how best to do this. I'd like a decorative panel, but space is tight and I may only be able to fit am 18mm melamine panel in.

Jan 11, 2008 · IMHO it might be better to but an integrated dishwasher. We build display units for most of the major sheds and there are quite a few that are freestanding but support the worktop as well. As said by others, a matching end panel would support the end of the worktop.

Mar 13, 2009 · Hi lell, I have had the same problem and was left with about 15" of useful/useless space. Fitted the end panel close to the end and screwed it to the floor and under the worktop with small L shaped brackets. The floorcovering hid the brackets, the top ones were out of sight. Finished up as a great place for the swing top bin.
