Oct 07, 2012 · I also read an article from SmallNetBuilder from back in 2009 that said if you disable WMM, then basically you are going back to a max of 54MB ("G type"), speeds. Is this still true? Anyone have recommendations on WMM? It is enabled by default on my EA5400.

However with WMM disabled my download speed was 20Mbps and with WMM enabled my download speed was 1Mbps. I know that this method isn't exactly scientific, but that seems like a big enough difference to say that WMM is screwing something up for me. Again I only enabled WMM I left the prioritization disabled.
