Nov 26, 2012 · As seamless as the Witcher 2's controller support is, there are several useless buttons that can be programmed as hotkeys for magical powers. It makes it easier to play a mix of magic and swordplay. Last edited by Tuskan GA ; Nov 26, 2012 @ 11:13pm

The Witcher 2 was originally a PC port. It released for PC in 2011 and got a 360 port in 2012. Mind telling us what's the point of arguing when you're so lazy that you can't even look up something as simple as that ? And yes, it does have a full controller support. I played through the game twice while using a 360 Batarang controller.

The 360 controller is the default controller for PC these days. So all the button signs in the game correlate to the 360 pad, but CDPR just didn't do a good enough job of making it controller compatible. I mean it's playable with a controller of course, you might use it and still find it preferable, but M/KB definitely works better overall.

Feb 06, 2013 · nstgc: I know that Witcher 1 doesn't support a controller, but I was wondering if the second one does. I tried to search, but all topics were on the subject of W1 controller support which seems to suggest to me that it is only an issue for W1 and that W2 does in deed support a controller.

Apr 26, 2015 · I just finished Witcher 2 a ccuple days ago and decided to delve back into the Witcher 1 forgetting it had no controller support. Since I have recently begun to prefer using a 360 Controller for PC games so I can sit back a little from the screen, this was a problem for me.

May 11, 2015 · Yes it is possible, however, I gave up on using a controller for the Witcher 2. For some reason the options menu doesn't have a sensitivity option (seriously, what the actual fuck?), one slight nudge on my analog stick made him move almost 180°. I couldn't even finish the tutorial because I couldn't properly aim the crossbow.

Jun 15, 2016 · Run the game Witcher 2 and choose Gamepad as the controller type in the options menu (Options -> Control Options -> Choose Controller is set to Gamepad) You will need to keep antimicro running in the background whenever you play the game and make sure Set 1 is selected in antimicro (Set 1 is already highlighted by default).

While Witcher 2 has always had (really good) support for the 360 controller, the Enhanced Edition's revised 360 controls currently have not made it to the PC Enhanced Edition.
