1- Yes they designed the game with a gamepad in mind, doesn't mean it was a port. In fact the combat in Witcher 2 is far more complex than Witcher 1 which is a PC game only 2- The PC (Windows) version was far from "a bad and unstable port", and again it wasn't a port at all.

It should also be noted the gamepad support in this game is damn good too with a 360 controller. Thank you CDProjekt for not leaving out those of us that like our gamepads in PC games as well. My god, I know this already. The question was if it also supports different gamepads as well (read my first post).

Apr 26, 2015 · I just finished Witcher 2 a ccuple days ago and decided to delve back into the Witcher 1 forgetting it had no controller support. Since I have recently begun to prefer using a 360 Controller for PC games so I can sit back a little from the screen, this was a problem for me.
