Aug 06, 2019 · Anyways, what concerns me is the rust where the roof support pillar meets the cowl. The drivers side is much worse than the passenger. The drivers side also needs the door hinge pillar. Would anyone know what would be the best 68-70 B-Body to use as a donor for the post/supports? Thank you.

May 23, 2019 · Re: roof supports /windshield The newer models DS they redesigned the roof supports and deleted those pieces, which is why you probably see many of them with and without. The newer roof is also "curvier" as where the old roof like yours is "blockier".

Sep 11, 2019 · I wanted to restore my LMTV to near original so bought a windshield vent for it. Logic said that the windshield will clear better with it in place. Guess what, it won't fit. Apparently the vent has to be removed when the gun mount support post is put in. See the picture. I would rather have the roof support than the vent so won't install the vent.
