Aug 31, 2009 · Windows XP supports a maximum of memory and maximum of disk space? If I recall, XP can utilize a maximum of 2Gigs of RAM. I do not think there is any limit to the disk space.

Oct 28, 2008 · 32 bit OSes have a max limit of 4GB, and both SP2 and SP3 have that limit. Some BIOSes support PAE (Physical Address Extension) which may allow some mobos to support slightly more. Windows may or may not work well with it.

Nov 09, 2014 · The root of this is Windows XP x86 is MBR only meaning that the limitation is to do with MBR. Disks exceeding 2TB must use GPT which extends the limit significantly, however Windows XP does not have this support currently. A 32 bit version of windows generally will only see the protective MBR on a GPT disk.
