Nov 08, 2008 · So after installing SP3 on my machine it crashed it, windows would keep on rebooting non-stop, just like when I tried to install XP on my SATA drive the first time. It seems that SP3 wiped out the two files necessary to run the Sata, to get my system back I used the XP disk to Repair it and also install the two files with the A: drive.

Apr 18, 2008 · if you want to know the truth yes it does... but it is more relavent to how you setup the SATA controller in the BIOS than if windows will support it or not.. usually you can set the Controller to emulate ide which is supported just like an IDE hard drive in windows XP or any OS for that matter.. if you setup RAID then you will need to hit the F6 key to install addtional driver during the xp ...
