May 06, 2015 · Should I use Power Chute or Windows XP Native UPS Support. I am using 2 APC Back-UPS RS 1300 and 1 APC Back-UPS XS800 with 3 Windows XP SP3 machines. My main interest is obtaining a graceful shutdown if the UPS battery runs down with an extended power failure.

May 13, 2016 · Original title: Windows Native Power Management? I'm trying to enable my ups (APC Back-UPS1500) on my new windows xp desktop pc. APC told me to install PowerChute software/drivers. The install stops with a 'disable native windows power management' statement. I can't figure out how/where to do this.
