I found this link Keeping Photoshop Up-To-Date but there is only the latest version 8.6 available which does not support Windows Vista. On this site Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter : For Windows : Adobe DNG Converter 8.4 there is only the DNG Converter available.

Cant view DNG files in windows explorer. I use a Canon EOS 500D for all my photos which are managed in adobe Bridge; processed in Adobe CS4. When looking at RAW images which are stored as DNG's in My Pictures (pre processing into JPEG's) they are not recognised and unopenable in windows.

Feb 27, 2014 · will only certain versions of adobe DNG converter work correctly on windows vista, i have downloaded the last couple of versions to convert my fuji x-trans RAWs but the converter says there are no files to read. It says it works on Vista with SP2. Does the version of the converter you have support the raw files you have?
