Apr 04, 2011 · When I start up boot camp set up I choose the option "Download the Windows support software for this Mac" and it returns the message "The Windows support software is not available." I can't get past this screen. I'm running OS X 10.6.7. Does anyone know if there's an update I'm missing? Can anyone explain this? Thanks in advance. Brendan

Aug 25, 2018 · My com port is missing. And the ports option is not available in Device Manager. I'm able to perfectly connect and use my phone/modem with the computer. I had gone through several discussions about same topic here in answers.microsoft.com to no avail. How do i enable it, or can you provide a link where i can download this com driver for windows 10?

May 06, 2017 · I, like many others, got the infamous "Windows Support Software Could Not be Saved" error, and therefore, could not get the full potential out of my Mac while running Windows. But as long as you keep Bootcamp Assistant OPEN after you receive an error, You can manually save the Support Software to your Hard drive or USB Drive.
