Apr 09, 2018 · SQL Server 2008 R2 Sp1 is NOT SUPPORTED at all. You can continue to use SQl Server 2008 R2 as long as you can, even after support (both mainstream and extended) ends but you should not expect MS to pay you if some disaster happens due to some bug and you face data loss.
