color emoji support on windows 8.1 How do i get color emoji support on Windows 8.1? All i get are B&W figures for some, blank rectangles for others. I have segoe emoji fonts and unicode extended fonts installed. My system is not on autoupdate so i don't automatically get updated on whatever is needed to get emoji colors on my apps.

Windows 10’s emojis are part of a font called the Segoe UI Emoji, and Microsoft is installing the font with the new update for Office 2016 — bringing all of Windows 10’s emojis to Windows 7.
