In the manuals it it is said, w7 Starter does not support 2GB. However, when I start up the Task Manager it shows memory usage of over 1GB, depending on how many applications I have started. How can I check it. Any help is appreciated.

May 18, 2011 · The Windows 7 Starter version does not support more than 2GB of RAM, though other versions reportedly support up to 4GB. This was a problem for me, as my machine runs much more RAM, and I hate waste. Microsoft provides this table describing the limits on X86 (32bit) Windows 7.
