Aug 25, 2018 · I have a problem with Russian font display. Some websites have a wrong font display or maybe it's unicode problem. I tried on both Microsoft edge and Google Chrome. I had chinese installation so maybe it's causing problem. I tried to change a system locale to Russian for non-unicode programs but it still has the same display problem.

Dec 10, 2015 · My win 7 machine Notepad opens txt files with Cyrillic fine but my Win 10 machine Notepad opens the same txt files as garbage, but types Cyrillic OK. MS Word 2010 on the Win 10 machine opens the file OK but asks what to open the font as. Windows Cyrillic is default and opens the file fine. I have Russian keyboard selected in input method.
