Apr 22, 2013 · I recently purchased two new LG monitors (29EA93-P and 27EA83-D). Their specs say they are HDCP capable. The Nvidia control panel application says they are and that HDCP is working with the connection between the video card and monitor. However, Windows Media Center (Windows 8) refuses to allow me to watch encrypted content (HBO, Showtime).

Mar 19, 2015 · I'm getting this message: HDCP Support Required sometimes when I try and watch tv. I'm using WMC on a Windows 7 PC. I have a HD Homerun Prime with a cable card. It happens randomly, and eventually goes away, sometimes immediately, sometimes hours later. I'm not sure why or what it means. Jan 06, 2012 · Although I have the VISTA disk, I never upgraded. About 7 months ago, I decided to upgrade to WINDOWS 7 Ultimate (64 bit). Dell told me that they did not have a Windows 7 compatiable chipset driver, but the forums led me to believe that the system would work fine with WINDOWS 7.

Since the current Ceton Windows 8 driver doesn’t support more than 8 tuners, I wanted to try installing Windows 8 Pro Media Center in a VM inside my already working Windows 8 Pro Media Center. (then I can use the second tuner in the VM, for now) I might even use VM Media Center/Win 8 inside Mountain Lion if it works well.
