May 27, 2009 · Windows 7 and touch Screen support I currently have Win 7 RC installed on an ex Point of Sale terminal, all running fine. The terminal also has an integrated resistive touch panel overlaid on the screen. i know it's not a multi-touch interface, just a standard "mouse-replacement" touch screen, and using WinXP touch screen drivers.

We tested one and trying on was difficult at best. It will not work as slick as an ipad for typing. Windows 7 was not designed to be a on a touch screen.
