Jan 18, 2013 · Windows 7 supports ACHI. Whomever told you it doesn't is wrong. Just enable it in the BIOS of your motherboard. Windows 7 has native drivers for most chipsets. The only registry edit needed is if you have already installed Windows in IDE mode an wish to use ACHI afterward. Ok Lead3 thanks - but just to confirm.
