This issue is specific to Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. All currently available versions of Symantec Endpoint Protection are affected. Dec 17, 2014 · Accordig to the message above, mainstream support of Window 2008 R2 product family will be ended on 13/1/2015, and there is no new service pack released, then 2008 R2 SP1 support will also end on 13/1/2015 since when support for a product ends, support of all the service packs for that product will also end.
