Yes they will, with BIOS updates, just as 3xx boards support Ryzen 2xxx series CPUs and APUs, and the Athlon GE series APUs. There will eventually be parallel versions of Ryzen CPUs which support DDR4 in current m/boards, or DDR5 in a new socket that is not AM4. AMD has committed to supporting AM4 for several years yet.

Nov 25, 2019 · Asrock and Asus support ECC on all AM4 boards I believe. MSI doesn't support ECC at all from what I know. Gigabyte only supports ECC on boads with higher layer counts which would include the X470 Gaming 7, and some older boards too like AX370 Gaming 5 and the K7. Some ITX boards might work too. Anyway, it's better to go with Asrock or Asus for ECC.

Your motherboard should support an Intel X99 chipset, otherwise you can only use until DDR3. The AMD FM2+ chipset-supported motherboard is still to come this year, so if you have an AMD-supported motherboard, chances are you don't have DDR4 support.
