The Wii mini does not support the use of an SD Card. If you have not yet updated your Wii console to Wii Menu 4.0 or higher, then your Wii console is only compatible with SD Cards that are 2 GB (Gigabyte) or less. Cards with a capacity higher than 2 GB will likely not work with the Wii console if it has not been updated to 4.0 or higher.

Aug 12, 2016 · Theoretically, the Wii U should support 2TB, though especially when trying to reach that upper limit, unexpected incompatibility issues can arise. I believe anything short of 2TB (e.g. 1.5TB, 1TB, 512GB, etc) should be safe to be used in a Wii, Wii U or Nintendo 3DS.

Oct 16, 2012 · Just for being a 2gb sd card with the logo Wii on it should have been a lot cheaper than the price i paid for. Was just looking to put homebrew on my wii u, I have a 32gb SDHC but it didnt support it because the Wii mode takes only 2gb and lower, so i ordered one and i probably paid like 5 times more than it should have been. better off buying a sd card without the wii logo on it.4.3/5(88)
