Why dell support is getting so bad. This would be my 4th dell and they just keep on getting worse. I remember my first dell came a week before they had chat support (this was back when you could only do it through solution center) and they said they won't let me use it.

Nov 29, 2009 · So, I gave up. I bought a cable and used the recovery tool to do a system restore. (I could not change the resolution in the state that Windows had been left in by the tech support rep.) So, remember, don't trust Dell tech support and don't buy from Dell.

Thanks for your feedback. I will really push on DELL and Microsoft to fix this issue that is disastrous for users! I am French, so sorry for any bad English in advance. I guess I know why your post was moved to Windows topic: DELL and Microsoft seem to disagree about who is responsible for what. During that time, Customers still face major issues!

So when I go to the Dell Website the status is in production. A little angry at Dell for missing their delivery date and making me look bad, I thought I would contact customer support from the website to leave a message requesting a new ETA.

Jan 21, 2019 · I agree with someone else on here - Dell used to be a good company but not any longer. My recent purchase had a hyper sensitive touchpad which tesulted in my unintentionally deleting six emails; a washed out screen and to cap it all it locked up so bad that even factory reset didn't work.
