Jan 09, 2017 · If you're going for gaming, Ubuntu has the best Steam support. If you are using AMD graphics, as of last spring or summer, Ubuntu dropped FGLRX. I did AMD on Linux for a little bit.. At the time, AMDs open source driver was just not there yet. If you are using NVidia, you should be good to go. If you are feeling adventurous, you could use Arch.
