I'm new in WebSphere and I want to know that is there any way to run JavaEE6 (EJB 3.1) application under WebSphere Application Server 7.0 ? I know that WebSphere 8 enabled JavaEE 6 support by default but I have to use WebSphere 7.0.

Apr 18, 2011 · Only "problem" ist, that he relies on using WebSphere AS. So, what do you think? Is it possible to support this container? Could imagine remote container implementation for WS AS 7 (EE5 compliant). Anyway, AFAIK lots of people still using WS AS 6.1 (with EJB3 featurepack). Thanks an regards. Michael

This was recently brought to the attention of Websphere MQ support. We had several customers that were trying to get the message to rollback, using the normal adapter and following IBM support's recommendation to throw a RuntimeException out of the onMessage.
