Mar 26, 2007 · Are you running the IIS built-in SMTP-server or Exchange (or other external smpt-server)? Reason for the question is that I'm not quite sure how IIS does with the SMTP-server that's builtin when you install a server certificate for the Web server.

The server does not support secure connections. Only on outgoing mail. The server is a Mac Server running 10.11. No other clients are having the same troubles. The clients are mainly 2011 outlooks and a few on 2016. Only one person if having this trouble.

Sorry i havent worked with any smoothwall products at all. But i can say this is you remove any settings or make any changes like you've been doing today, you need to test your ip address (external) and all of them to make sure they are not open relays!

It has also been my problem before and the reason is due to restrictions on my smtp server. Contact your network admin and ask for assistance. In your case it could also be due to host and port issues.
