I can no longer use Facebook Messenger. I try to use Facebook messenger and it tells me as of March 28th my messenger will no longer work. It gives me a link that takes me to Microsoft for a Facebook download that is not for my device.

I reported this to facebook as a problem, but I'm just checking here to make sure it's not something I can just fix on my own. I can no longer send images on facebook messenger from my computer. I can send images from mobile. I've even been able to copy and paste images into the chat before, but I can no longer do that either.

Update: “I can confirm that we are notifying people who use Facebook Messenger for Windows that it will no longer be available as of March 3,” a Facebook spokesperson told TNW. The chat client was available for just under two years. Update on February 27: Facebook Messenger for Firefox is also shutting down on March 3.
