Oct 15, 2015 · Same here.Remember the wd tv first gen.It never support simple dts.But the wd tv live has many more support than the first gen and i hope the dts-ma is in the progress for the new firmware. Actually of more pressing nature, in my personal opinion, is for WD to support 5.1 AAC and 5.1 FLAC by converting these into 5.1 LPCM.

Oct 25, 2014 · I am using a WD Live TV box right now to stream those MKV files to my Onkyo TX-NR818 receiver then out to the Onkyo Amplifier then finally out to the JBL speakers and projector. My current sound system is a 7.1 capable system, so I would really like to take advantage of the DTS-HD audio codec. I know that the WD TV Live does not support DTS-HD.
